November - Hoffelt Happenings Newsletter

Hi Friends! Well, fall is officially here. We can't believe the holidays are just around the corner and we've been busy getting ready for the coming season. We are excited to introduce new shapes and designs for our 2022 heirloom ornaments (read below for presale dates) and have many Holiday art shows to look forward to at the Meadow Barn Art Collective. I don't think our the pottery wheel has stopped spinning for weeks! It has been busy but we've been loving every minute of it and can't wait to share our creations with you. Don't worry, we will shoot you an email and let you know when things hit our website. Talk soon!

THE LITTLE THINGS

Watch: Escape to the Chateau for laughs, tender moments, and gorgeous old French chateaus. We are those people who would move to France and buy one of these gorgeous old buildings in a heartbeat. Endless projects and restoring old things is a dream!

Read: Two recommendations this month because I couldn’t pick between two of my favorite authors.
Fairy Tale by Stephen King. I’m a huge fan of his. I hadn't read anything written by him until a couple of years ago because I thought they would be scary, and I don’t do horror. How wrong I was. This one involves a sweet old dog that makes me think of our Maisie girl. Oh how I wish for a magic sundial...
The Winners by Fredrik Backman - the third and final book in the series. Read them in order and then read everything else this man writes. Every book makes me laugh, cry, and feel like there are good people in the world.

Enjoy: Now that things are getting chilly we’ve been using our solo stove in the evenings to be outside and cozy. I have never liked fire pits because I hate smelling like smoke after, but I have to say, this one is about as smokeless as they come. Side note - nothing we recommend is sponsored it's truly just things we enjoy and would tell our friends and family about.

Use: Whidbey Wild Beauty. With the weather changing your skin needs some extra love. Both Will and I are obsessed with this skincare line. It saved my skin when I was dealing with hormone changes after having a hysterectomy last winter. I’m a convert for life. Daily we use the squash enzyme face cleanser, calming toner, collagen cream, B5 serum, and botanical morning renew serum. Not only is the product amazing but they are another husband and wife team and some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Make sure to read their story on their website.

WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO

Preparing to launch our 2022 ornament collection - we will be opening our online shop for pre-sale orders on November 10 for two days only. All ornaments will ship by the end of November. More details to come in another email!

Pottery online shop update November 17th. This will include our ceramic Christmas trees, owls, bud vases, mugs, and more.

On October 22 we had our Fall Art Show at the Meadow Barn Art Collective. It was a beautiful day filled with stunning art and great people! As always, we were joined by fellow host and artist Laura G Hudson along with our guest artist Rachel Clark.

Completed our first big fall project, building a little garden shed to help clear out more space in our garage for pottery. It's looking a lot more organized and it is so nice having more space for all things pottery (virtual tour to come on instagram soon).
